Laura is a fifth generation artist raised in Minnesota’s small community of St. Anthony Park. As a child, she was immersed daily in countless art mediums, from sculpture and watercolor to pottery and photography. Her artistic vision and inner sense of a child’s spirit is revealed in the heirloom, hand-tinted portraits she creates by hand.

Selected to exhibit in the prestigious New York City Licensing Show in 1999, her artistic gift gained worldwide recognition. Her work has been licensed and published in several areas including calendars, gift bags, framed wall decor, fine art prints, photo albums, puzzles, personal check designs, mobile phone cards, stationery products and more. Laura has won multiple national awards for her warm, inspiring, candid approach to photographic artistry.
